Asim Javed

Asim is a strategist. He sees the larger pattern in a technical shift, discerns where it can go, and connects topics that are usually argued separately. His natural strength is taking what is complex and interrelated and explaining it simply enough that a person, or an institution, can act.

Three threads run through the work. The societal question is who decides how AI reshapes ordinary life. That is the book Future Without Consent, The Consent Report, and the research record. The practitioner side is enterprise AI training, helping organizations get value from AI, and talks at conferences and events internationally. The technical grounding is a master's from the University of Oxford, where the research was in computer vision, before the generative wave.

With the emergence of generative AI, established frames such as VUCA no longer described the forces. As co-author and primary contributor to a 2025 Scaled Agile white paper,¹ he introduced EDGE: Exponential, Disruptive, Generative, and Emergent. The practical answer was AI-Native, a different way of thinking and working once those forces are the conditions.

He speaks so that people and institutions can make those choices on purpose. The book, the briefing, and the training are how the argument is tested, not a substitute for it.
